One of the strongest features of Backdrop CMS is the ability to create complex and custom data structures right out of the box, without any custom coding or special modules. This means that you can create very custom content with precisely the fields that you need to best organize and manage your data. Some custom content types that we use quite often are:
- Events
- Locations
- Products
- People
We add and configure the fields for each content type to meet our custom needs. For example, a Location content type might need the following fields (or sorting and filtering):
- Address
- Phone
- Hours
- Manager
- Accessibility
