The Page content type comes with Backdrop CMS out of the box and is intended for use with general web pages that need their own path/URL but do not require custom fields. Although you are able to add custom fields to the default Page content type if you need them.
The Page content type comes with only two fields:
- Title
- Body
On our site, we are using the Page content type for only a couple of pages such as:
- About
- Vendor Info
